Cute video of Jillian playing in her crib. Beware, there are some loud squeals involved.

This Week...
And we've been playing in the crib.
And we mustn't forget to practice our surprised face.

Buca di Beppo
My friend Melissa had her birthday last week so we went out to celebrate. We went to an Italian restaurant:
We were seated under this beautiful painting:
When did angels ride dolphins and have little tiny moustaches? I don't know either.

Rabbits
A few weeks ago, Sean and I went on a walk with Jillian and we saw a bunny just chilling in someone's yard. We thought it was cute and a little strange that there was a bunny just hanging out and so went merrily on our way. A couple days later I was out walking with Jillian and saw the same bunny in the same yard just sitting by the fence looking like it was hiding out. I saw the bunny again the next day as well and as I was coming home from my walk I saw this poster out:

This One is for Grandma P!
Jillian loves to pet the quilt Grandma made her. Usually she does it after a trip to the changing table since that is where the quilt is located.

Olympics
I love the Olympics. I have ever since I was little although the only events I cared about then were gymnastics and figure skating. I've broadened my tastes now and love to watch most events. I love cheering for the Americans, whether they are the favorites or the underdogs in any given event. I love it when snotty French swimmers say they are going to crush the Americans and the Americans come back and win the gold. I always feel such a great sense of pride in my country during the Olympic games and cannot get enough of seeing our flag flying and our national anthem playing during medal ceremonies. I love the human interest stories that get you hooked on a certain Olympian no matter what country they are from. I love the Olympics.
Did anyone watch the 4x100 freestyle relay swim with Michael Phelps, Cullen Jones, Jason Lezack, Garrett Weber-Gale last night? Amazing!

Nature Girl
Last night we went for a walk and brought the camera along. Of course, we forgot to take any pictures of the actual walking so we had to get a picture in the parking lot before we went in the house. On our way inside we saw a praying mantis. Of course, I wanted Jillian to get a good view of him.
She really liked the praying mantis. Guess she's not going to be squeamish.
This picture was just to cute to post even though it had nothing to do with bugs or walking...

Park Time
Sean and I took Jillian to the park tonight. Jillian and I tried out the slide.
I don't think she liked it very much. She didn't cry but didn't seem very excited either. She wasn't thrilled about the swing either. Probably because it was so late.
We tried to take some more pictures of Jillian but the camera battery died! Maybe next time...

Binky
People ask if Jillian takes a pacifier. I guess you could call it that...
