Yesterday, I let Jilly have a popsicle after lunch. She was pretty excited to eat it.

My New Love

I've been asked where my furniture was from one of the videos of Jillian walking. Well, I am happy to announce I am now a proud owner of a new sectional! This was our living room from Sunday night until today.

Nice and spacious. Jillian ran around like crazy. She loved it. I'll admit, our apartment felt much bigger without any furniture in it.

This is our new couch. It is chocolate brown and is very comfy. You can see Jilly's little bum on the right hand of that picture.

But my favorite part of the new couch is the "cuddle corner." I kid you not, that is what it's called. Just perfect to sit with a loved one. It's also fun to sit in by yourself. The sectional does take up the whole wall but we won't live in this apartment forever so we wanted to get something we liked rather than something that would just fit. And so far, we love it!

For Grandma Galland

Jillian got lots of compliments on her new outfit on Sunday. Grandma Galland always finds the cutest Minnie Mouse clothes!

Jillian even kept the hat on for more than a minute. She didn't wear it the whole time we were at church but it's a start.

Walking Around

Job

I am pleased to announce that Sean started a new job today!!! He is working for a health care company doing computer stuff (I really have no idea what the man does all day but I can get the basics). The job is closer than the last few jobs he has had so we're pretty excited that he'll be home at a reasonable time in the evenings.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers during the last 6 weeks. Knowing that we have such a great support system got us through this rough patch with smiles on our faces.

Red

We tried to get a cute picture of Jillian and me in red for Valentine's Day (even though this was Sunday. We were a day late, so sue us!).This was as good as we could get. Jillian is resistant to pictures these days. Probably why we haven't posted many pictures lately. By the way, you may notice I finally got a haircut. Nothing major, but going a year without one makes you really appreciate a trim.

Ruffle

This is what this outfit is supposed to look like. A cute ruffle on the bum of Jilly's pants. So, imagine my amusement when she came back from a diaper change with Sean looking like this:

She can walk much better than this but of course when I try to catch it on video, she doesn't want to cooperate. Oh well.

Watch

Jillian usually doesn't pay any attention to the television, even when it is on. But whenever she sees the DVD box for Wall*E she holds it up and says, "Watch." It's very cute, trust me. Anyway, this is her and Sean watching Wall*E.

As you can tell, she's fascinated by it.
