4 months

Chloe had her four month well check yesterday. Here are her stats:

Height: 24 inches which is in the 20th percentile

Weight: 11lbs 5.5oz which is in the 4th percentile

Head circumference: 39 cm which puts her in the 3rd percentile
The doctor said she was concerned because her weight was tapering off so she told us to start rice cereal. This is her first taste of the cereal:
She didn't love it, she didn't hate it but she did throw it up in the middle of the night. I think it came up as a reaction to her immunizations as it was 6 hours after she ate. We'll try it again soon.

Chloe is also going to physical therapy because she has torticollis and plagiocephaly which are big words for a head tilt and a misshapen head. We are learning lots of different positions and stretches that we can do at home so we won't have to get a helmet. Her condition is moderate but everyone is hopeful that we can get her to be able to move her head properly and that her head will grow symmetrically. We've already seen some progress in since we started going 2 weeks ago.
That's our Chloe. Always something going on with her. Next week we are going to the cardiologist. She has to have a sedated EKG. We are really looking forward to that (to be read sarcastically).

You're right, always something with that girl, but she is so cute.

Sweet picture of her and Sean. Do you get tired of hearing comments about how small she is? She's a sweetie. If Tanner has to have an MRI for his hip he'll have to be sedated, hoping he doesn't.
Chloe is a sweetie.

Holly, she's so precious! Love the green dress. :) I personally would hold off a bit longer on rice cereal. Rachel threw up her first serving as well at 5 months, so we didn't even bother until 6 months. And then even then she wouldn't tolerate it. We just moved right into fruits and veggies. After all this stuff with Audrey going on I have realized how important it is to not really introduce solids until 6 months - it just increases the chances of allergies. I would think she'll get more good fat and calories through breastmilk (are you breastfeeding, it was probably hard when she was in the hospital - not sure if you are).

Anyhow, off my soapbox! :) I hope Chloe continues to do well and the therapy helps. Keep us updated...

Man, what a rough road you've had with her! She's going to be one tough girl.
